Error: Endpoint not found

Aug 8, 2011 at 1:12 PM

Hi,

I have tried to deploy the web service by following the steps mentioned inside your document. But when i run the service from IIS, its showing me message stating

"Endpoint not found".

Not sure whether I have missed something. If someone else stumbled upon same(or similar) error and have resolved it, then please share your solution here.

Thanks in advance

Which URL are you trying to access?

Try the following format:
lyncservice.yourcompany.com/service.svc/getpresences?sipUris=user@yourcompany.com

Feel free to supply additional information, such as what you already tried etc.. . I'll do my best to help.

Hi,

I reach the same stage "Endpoint not found".

if I try your suggestion, the following appears in the IIS log:

2011-09-05 15:17:01 ::1 GET /service.svc/getpresences sipUris=uname@example.com 443 - ::1 Fiddler 400 0 0 8

Any other suggestions?

It would also be worthwhile mentioning in the documentation that the IIS application pools should be set to Enable 32-bit applications, and .Net Framework is 4.0.

There is something in the code referring to log4net. Does this output any processing details?

thanks,

Dan.

I found the problem. I ran aspnet_regiis –iru in FX install dir. Now i can see presence but chat is not working. When i initiate chat for the first time i see only "Opnening chat..." and nothing happens. But when i reopen chat i get "Unable to establish a connection." In widget service log i get:

Is your url correct? Because i see space in your url it shlould look like this /getpresences?sipUris=user@yourcompany.com

Yes, That is ok. I checked that.

It looks like the application server cannot reach the OCS frontend server. I've got the feeling that i didn't configure the trustedapplicationpool correctly
